Hi all,
A problem which I bumped into in 2013 R2 has now been introduced to 2013 in hotfix rollup 7.
Using SETVIEW or SETPOSITION when a table contains duplicate captions causes an exception (Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.NavClientClosingException).
The captions don't need to be on key fields to cause the problem.. which is a bit puzzling, why does NAV suddenly care about this after all these years?
Unfortunately for me, duplicate captions seem to be reasonably common in our product for one reason or another.
Anyway, I'm not sure how to contact Microsoft directly so I'm posting this here.. What are the chances this will be fixed at some point? :bug:

You mean captions with more than one translation (MultiLanguage) specified?
Hi geordie,
No I mean two table fields with the same caption value (in the same language).
For example, say you have two fields on a table called "Value1" and "Value2". Both these fields have the same caption; "Value".
