contact not update from customer / vendor

hello every body
We are using NAV2013R2. When we import the customer then contact no. made and attached with Customer automatically. but contact detail i.e. Name, Address etc. not update in contact card.

did you use the rapid start import functionality with related tables when importing the customer with contacts, or did you just populate the contact number without validation on the customer card ?
