Problem when sending attached document with mail

Hi everyone,
I am trying to send an e-mail with an attached pdf file.
The document is generated via PDF Creator.
I am getting the following error message:

Attachment doc.pdf does not exist or can not be accessed from the program.

I checked the file doc.pdf and it does exists under the directory I specified.
So, what shall I do?

Did you check file and directory permission?
If the e-mail is sent by NAS, the NAS user had to be granted to access it.
