I am doing some performance testing and I am trying to extract data from a local NAV database using N/ODBC in parallel. The specific version is "Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 SP1 ODBC". Here is what I am doing:
1. Copying the NAV database files to a second set of disks
2. Creating a second ODBC DSN to point to the files on the second set of disks
Extracting data sequentially is working fine but when I try to extract the data in parallel using the second DSN I get the error shown below. Is there some restriction that doesn't allow two ODBC connections to be made on the same server and if so is there any way around this?
Thank you
