Accounting Strucuture issue

Hi ,
I am facing a issue with the accounting structure, where the initial opening balances where uploaded with one account structure with all values. Now i have changed the accounting structure with different combinations.
taking an example of a fixed asset where i am transferring the fixed asset from one location to other , while executing the transfer system gives me an error that " Old accounting structure for the combination is not valid for the new COA Structure".
Any body has anticipated this problem.
