Decimal value to Fraction

On the Item table I fot Internal Diameter and External Diameter fields as Integers but I do like it this way. Because it changes the value to decimals. To avoid this on development I added Internal Diameter TXT and External Diameter TXT.
How can I pass those value to the appropiate Internal and External diameter fields?
