Delete Change Log Entries monthly

hi all,
in my company, we recorded log entries
but we feel that it's too huge... and make nav slower
I'm planning to generate as excel file every end of the month and then delete all data for that month
is there any issues if we do this?
please advise

I don't see any matters in exporting and deleting periodically Change Log Entry table records, except that users will have to check several files in order to perform audits; otherwise you can also consider to create a "Change Log Entry History" table and just move records to it.

Moreover, you should consider to trace only modification you are strictly requested to mark not to affect performance.
