i have create a user in a company but unfortunately the password is lost.
the database is in local native database v3.70.
is any way possible to find the password and unlock the program ???

You will have to contact Microsoft helpdesk who will give you a temporary userid and password that would enable you to open the database. But this will come at a cost. Microsoft will charge for giving a temporary userid and password.

Another option is to take a backup of the database, then restore it, when the restore is complete, you will have access to the passwords by running table 2000000002 and delete the password for the user, then he can reset his password to what he wants.
I have not tried to but if you have access to the database as a super user, you could maybe just run the table without the backup/restoring process, that might work too.Elmar F. Vidisson
