NAV 2009R2 Classic Client (build 6.00.34332)

Hi,

When we do a quick search in a list (for example Customer List) and we start typing, we normally would get (in NAV 5) the quick search screen that where as you type the "Find What" field is filled in what you type. It starts with the first letter you type.

We now have the issue that if you do a quick search, the "Find What" field has already an entry in it, the selected field value and we have to manually select en delete it before we can search for the correct value. Very cumbersome !!

If we do not filter as we type, then we get that the value is a space instead of the value, so we have to remove the space before entering the search text.

If we just continue to type as we did in NAV 5.0 and earlier versions of NAV 2009R2, the text is just added in front of the existing text and the first character is lost. I typed "schell" in the customer name column, this is what I get:

Do you have any idea how to get this corrected, is this a setting ? Or a bug ?
I know for sure in NAV2009R2 Build 6.00.33869 this search function works perfect.
I tried with the Cronus DB on both builds, in 6.00.33869 this works in build 6.00.34332 it does not.
So it's not the database, it is on all computers where this version is on.

Can you give some feedback on this ?

Thanks
Danny
