Manufacturing overhead cost in production order

Hi there

I'm trying to confirm if I can get the manufacturing overhead cost to post to a separate GL account as opposed to being lumped into the direct item cost on a production order for a standard cost item.
I've added an overhead rate to my finished product and run the standard cost worksheet and the rollups look exactly as I want with direct item cost and manufacturing overheard seperated.
However when I post the production order the total cost for the item is rolled into the direct cost even though the statistics show manufacturing overhead as separate.
Is this correct?
If so any ideas or workarounds?
