Upgrade from Nav 5.0 to Nav 2013

Hi Friends
I just upgrade from Nav 5.0 to Nav 2013 and SQL upgrade also and I observed that code values in tables are not behaving as a standard way of functionaing. For Ex. Dimension value has alphanumic value and it is not coming in proper sorting. I tried SQL data type option on code field but it is not working.
Do we have any other option is Nav 2013 for code datatype? Need serious help friends.

Could you please describe it in more detail? What is your SQL Data Type value currently? What sorting to do you see (example)? What sorting do you expect (example)?
