bi-weekly date formula, recurring journal

How can I setup the recurring journal with a bi-weekly cycle.

I have tried so many combinations, I cant get it to work.

Journal will be run on the 1st and once its done running, it should change the posting date to the 15th of that month. Once its run on the 15th, it should change the posting date to 1st of next month...and so on. So what will be the date formula??

    Hi nverma,

Your cycle is not bi-weekly, but twice a month (a month has (usually) more than 4 weeks). The two intervals are not equally long.
I don't think there is a way to express this in one date formula.
Split the recurring journal line into two, each with a monthly cycle.

Would it be possible to do semi-monthly date for recurring journal date formula.

    1st and 15th.

No, you set up two journal batches, MTSTART and MIDMONTH, have a posting date of 1st +1M in one and 15th +1M in the other, tell users to go to the first one on the first day of month and the other one on the 15th...

Or the same on one journal batch.
