Database connectivity in Navision?

Howdy everyone,
In navision database server we will need to put. fdb data file in Database Server folder. Do the schemaxt. exe data file & modify the particular license file name as fin. flf & placed also this inside Database Server folder. Will there be another step to arrange database server? coz My business is facing connection issue from from buyer to server?

PS: in your case there is no need to change the services and hosts file if you only have 1 DB. When no entry is made in the services-file, the standard port (2407) is used.

Some things to remember:
-Remember to open that port in your firewall (both server and client).
-use TCP and NOT TCPS
-when your client connects, it defaults to TCPS. You need to change this.
