Please help,
Our company is in the middle of executable only upgrade from Navision 3.6 to Navision 2009 R2 classic.
I need help to solution zup file issue. We are hoping to keep all users zup file configurations.
Is it possible to take users old zup files and somehow move them to 2009 classic?
Thanks,
Couber

honestly, I don't know. I would expect the .zup files to be going invalid, because you need to recompile all objects. The date/time of the objects won't change, though.

Since it is a technical upgrade and we only use classic client, would it just work? Same user computers also.
I made some screen layout changes and save the zup file. I then copy the zup file to a pc running 2009 classic client connected to converted Navision SQL database. I have to change login information but the changed screen is now in the new classic client.
Did I miss anything?
good to know. Regarding the .zup files you should be safe then. However, you might want to do a forum search regarding analysis by dimension and technical upgrades. There is a nasty change in behaviour which needs a minor code modification.

I knew that there are some code adjustment with matrixes. Is there anything else?
AFAICR, I had a few changes necessary in dataports with C/AL. The initialization behaviour had changed... it was also easy to fix.
