Dear all,
I have written code to use the SMTP email, which is working when testing with sending to corporate email addresses.
I now run into the issue that when I want to send to an "outside" address there is an error message received back from the server.
I think it's not really NAV related but Exchange, but maybe somebody has run into this before.
The message I get is:
The SMTP mail system returned the following error: "Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: 5.7.1 Unable to relay"
As said before, when I email to one of our own corporate email accounts it works fine, but outside the company I het this error.
Do you have an idea/solution?
BR, Rob

I don't know many details, but try to check on IIS the Default SMTP Virtual Server -> Properties -> Access -> Relay restrictions.
