Hi expert, I tried to create and install the digital certificate for the testing database for the web client. After the installation, the web client which worked before didn't work anymore. The configuration file for the client and web have been modified and and CRT worked fine. The error showed "There is a communication protocol mismatch between the client and the server."
Here is the error from the log event: There is a communication protocol mismatch between the client and the server. StackTrace: at Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.ConnectionEstablisher
The requested upgrade is not supported by 'net.[url=tcp://nav:7046/DynamicsNAV2013/Service']tcp://nav:7046/DynamicsNAV2013/Service'[/url]. This could be due to mismatched bindings (for example security enabled on the client and not on the server).
