Hello,
Regarding to SQL Server 2008 R2 and SQL servicepacks;
What SQL servicepack level is supported for Nav 5.0 SP1 u2?
I found the following information online but no details about the servicepack level:

We support the following versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2:
* Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 SP1
* Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 SP1 with Update 2
This is the case:
The NAV implenting company did install the SQL 2008 R2 (standard) server and applied all Microsoft Updates offered online.
So SQL 2008 R2 SP1, which is offered thru Microsoft Update, is the current installed SQL SP level.
Unfortunately SP2 will never be offered through Microsoft Update so the NAV SQL company says therefore SP2 will not be installed because it's not offered this way.
My guess is that's this 'logic' is a bit unfortunate to miss out on this servicepack only not to be offered thru Microsoft Update. My guess is that it's done because of the need of an attended setup, not because it's not recommended by Microsoft.
So is there any official documentation on the SP levels? and further, post SP cumulative updates .. sorry for asking but what about them?
Thanks,
Arian van der Pijl!
