Hi have a client that is a Services SETA, which is a government department that receives grants from contributors in order to finance training in various public sectors.
They are currently on NAV version 4.0, and the system was modified to handle their needs, but they are upgrading to NAV 2013 and would like to use standard NAV as much as possible.
How they opperate is as follows;
They receive the budget money for certain public sectors to allocate to training in these sectors. That budget money is recorded in a modified form called Contract. Within that contract there can be many sub-contracts, they call them projects, which allocates the funds as required. These sub-contracts (Projects) have their own budget driven off the contract budget.
There is no sales or Items or anything like that, all they do is process Purchase Invoices against the project or contract to pay for the services rendered against the contract or project. These payments reduce the available amount against the budget less the payments.
Is there a module in NAV 2013 that would work for this without having to tweak it too much?
We thought of useing Jobs, but it seems there you can only process sales and not purchase invoides.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
