Restore Operation Failed .Warning message

Hi, I am trying to copy stuff from PROD DB to DEV DB. My DEV DB is empty without any company. I took a backup for the whole PROD environment inside NAV Developer Environment , and went in DEV to restore it.

Over there I got a warning message " You cannot delete or change the type of the config. package code field ( in the Gen. Journal Batch table) before the value in the field is reduced to 0 or '(blank) in all records. This message occured because a nonzero value was found for the record journal template name ' GENERAL', NAME='THOMSON' in company QMLP-PRODUCTION."

I took a backup of a single company and tried to restore it in DEV . Same message.

When I tried to restore the backup in the PILOT enviroment , It was successfully restored.

This thing told me that there is nothing wrong with the backup , might have to do with the DEV DB.

Please someone elaborate on this. I am new to this NAV stuff.

There is a field "Config. Package Code" which exist in the "Gen. Journal Batch" table in Prod DB and contains data. This field does not exist in the DEV DB. Therefore you can't restore the data until you reconcile this and any other differences.
There are no bugs - only undocumented features.
