Hi expert, in the middle of the installation of SQL Server 2012, everything was fine except that there was a Warning beside the firewall. I had all of the ports open for the inbound of firewall and tried to re-run, but it still showed the same warning. I ignored it and had it completely installed. Will the warning reflect the server and client connection? How to configure the firewall? Thank you!

This warning is not specific to SQL Server 2012: it also happens on earlier versions.
You do not have to worry about it if you are installing NAV on the SQL machine.
However, if you have NAV (or other programs) trying to access SQL Server remotely, you have to setup your firewall to allow remote connections. The most common port to open is port TCP 1433.
This webpage (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library ... 23(SQL.100).aspx) gives the ports you have to open depending on the services you want to use.
