Just upgraded a client from a NAV 1.20 database to NAV 2009. Using NAV since 1998. They have over 80,000 customers, with more than 700,000 customer ledger entries and more 1.5 million detail customer ledger entries. They are using a native database on a Windows 2008 R2 server. When running the NAV 2009 R2 client on Windows 7 client workstation the Aged A/R report takes about 24 minutes to render the first two pages (without details). When I run the same report on the same database with the same criteria using a Windows XP client workstation, the report runs in 7 minutes 13 seconds. The only difference between these two scenarios is the OS on the client workstation. The report has not been modified. Has anyone experienced similar performance issues like this?
