Executable only upgrade to 2009 classic

Hi,

Need help on doing an executable only upgrade from Navision 3.6 to 2009.
Is this possible?
One of my friend told me that it could run into missing data issue and my only option on doing an executable only upgrade is to Navision 5!
Is this true?

no, you can do exe upgrade to 2009. i'd recommend nav backup and restore. you will need to change the analysis by dimension form.

Case statements are case sensitive.

There are also a few other matrix forms that need to be fixed in the same way - I'm pretty sure there there is a MS KB article about this if you need more details (tells you which objects need updating and how)

Another question:

Does it matter if it is a Navision 3.6 database or any later database?
We have 3.6 database. Did the fix work on 3.6 database?
