FA Posting Group in Fixed Asset

Hello all,
How can I fill a Fa posting group in fixed asset? I`ve already setup fa posting group in Fa card line. but there is not fa posting group in Fixed asset table.

The one which you set on Lines will be available in FA Depreciation Book table.
You need to dsign the form and add FA Posting Group on header of Fixed Asset form and add the value.

it is working fine. But one thing is strange. Some fixed assets have fa posting group, some hasn`t. Why it is happened?

Did you by any chance imported them with Dataports earlier?

yes i did,imported by data migration

May be you have imported the records with Posting Group at that time..

yes, it was with FA posting group. Is there any case of this problem?

As far as I know, this field is used in reports for grouping to analyse the fixed assets value..

That is true. I use this field in report for grouping and using the fa value.
