Upgrade Client Process

Hi All,

We currently run Navision Attain 3.60 running on SQL Server 2000.
Performance and general stability have both been continuing issues to deal with but I've been advised on several occasions to upgrade the client to 3.70 as it's 'More Stable'.

I went to log into our 3.60 database using a 3.70 client and got a message come up about upgrading the DB. At this point I backed out  as I didn't want to exclude everybody else.

Can anybody tell me exactly the process to perform this type of upgrade and leave the database as it is and what I need to do with all the other clients etc.

Any problems to watch out for would also be helpful. I'd like to do this but must know the consequences before even considering pressing the "Big Button".

Thanks in advance.

Rob.

There is ony one change - the version of the database (which is saved in some properties) is changed to new version. No other change...

You must upgrade all your clients in same time to be able to use the DB after you "pressed the big button"...

There is one topic about this (how to revert back)...
