Reservation on Transfer order against Purchase Order.

Hi All you clever people,

Is it possible to make a reservation on a transfer order to a purchase order?

The customer is purchasing items to location BLUE and wants to make sure that these will be reserved for transfer to location WHITE. Therefore he creates a purchase order for the item (location BLUE) and a transfer order from-location=BLUE and to-location=WHITE.

This option exist on the Function -> Reserve

OK, thanks. Do you know then, why I not seeing the purchase order line when I go into the reserve window. I have created a purchase order which is to be delivered to the location that is also my from-location on the purchase order.

Let me what is your Purchase Order Shaping Location code as well as Transfer Order From Code.

I ended up figuring it out. It does work and I am able to reserve against the PO. I think that the date, unit of measure and location need to be correct for it to work (which makes sence).
