NAV 2013 asking for DB login when export to excel

Hi all,

I open the rtc page by giving the login credentials and then when I try to save the data in excel from any page in RTC , system again prompting me to give the user name and password to save the data in excel. client requirement is the system should prompt only first time when you login to RTC and not when exporting to excel.

Is there any settings available so that system prompts only once the credentials.

If anyone knows how to achieve this , kindly let me know.

Hi Guys,

Any advise for this issue. I am also facing same problem in NAV 2013 when we set the authentication as NavUserPassword.
Export to excel ask for username password again and the the exported excel file alignment goes haywire.

Hi Guys,

I managed to find the cause of this problem, It was the Excel Version which caused this, older version of excel has this problem but not latest ones.
