Hi,
i have the following issue:
We have a windows login schema like: DOMAIN\firstname.surname
Mostly after marriage a user change his surname. The IT renamed (no delete) in in die Active Directory the Windows Login.
Example:
old was: Tatooine\jajabings.skywalker
now: Tatooine\jajabings.fett
We do the following:
- In NAV we delete from the Windows Login Table the old user name.
- On SQL Server we delete the coresponding schema and user (master and nav db) and login
- Selecting via NAV the renamed login, after searching in the "AD" Windows -> Windows Login and there F6
In the AD List the (renamed) username is right and shown. Also on the sql server the logins have the right username.
Only NAV shows the old Windows Login Name in the Window Login Table after selection.
Has anyone a hint for me, how we can solve this problem?
Thanks in advance,
jaja_bings
We have SQL Server 2005 and NAV2009 R2 (6.00.32012).

it is me again. We have track down the problem and did a messy workaround.
It looks like, that the problem with using the old Windows-Login appears only on our Terminalserver installations.
If I reproduce the scenario on a local installed nav client, it works. I do not have a clou, whats the reason for this, but want let you knwo how to avoid the problem.
