Hi,
This is a piece of code Outlook VBA code that should fill a job journal line for a new appointment that is not private.
Each time I run this, the navision ODBC drivers returns an ISAM Error on the update statement... Any ideas?
Dim WithEvents mcolCalItems As Items
Private Sub Application_Startup()
Dim objNS As NameSpace
Set objNS = Application.GetNamespace("MAPI")
Set mcolCalItems = objNS.GetDefaultFolder(olFolderCalendar).Items
Set objNS = Nothing
End Sub
Private Sub mcolCalItems_ItemAdd(ByVal Item As Object)
Dim con
Dim rst
Const adOpenKeyset = 1
Const adLockOptimistic = 3
Set con = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
Set rst = CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")
con.Open "Move IT DB Cronus"
Dim varSQL
Dim sStartDate As String, sStartTime As String, sEndDate As String, sEndTime As String
sStartDate = Format(Item.Start, "dd/mm/yy")
sStartTime = Format(Item.Start, "hh:mm:ss")
sEndDate = Format(Item.End, "dd/mm/yy")
sEndTime = Format(Item.Start, "hh:mm:ss")
varSQL = "select * from ""Job Journal Line"""
rst.Open varSQL, con, adOpenKeyset, adLockOptimistic
If Item.Class = olAppointment Then
If Item.Sensitivity <> olPrivate Then
rst.AddNew
rst("No_") = "TEST"
rst.Update
End If
End If
rst.Close
con.Close
Set rst = Nothing
Set conn = Nothing
End Sub
