sounds like a general protection error:

    info on it here
    http://www.easydesksoftware.com/gpfs.htm

    or

    http://search.microsoft.com/search/resu ... down&na=54

    or

    http://search.microsoft.com/search/resu ... +shut+down

(one of the post suggests that this error can occur on a corrupted pic file - does your invoices print a logo on it?)

or does the error message give a specific dll or program?
I'm assuming disk space is not one of the issues either.

    Hi Savatage,
something very strange is there are not only one pc having this illegal operation, but there are a few involved. THe RAM and the hard disk space for those PCs are pretty good.
Still have no idea why is this illegal operation happen.

    tools->options

have you tried different Object Cache settings for those clients or are those clients set to a different amount from the others?

I would suspect the printer driver. Are you using Post & Print by any chance? Are the clients use the same type of printer, or at least the same brand?

If you use "Post" only without print, does the same problem happen?

If it's the printer driver, try updating it to the latest version.

    Hi aci,
i don't think is printer drive problem, as the problem does not happen when post & print but happen any where. even during viewing the posted sales invoice.

Savatage, what type of object cache setting you are refering to? it should be default setting as user does reinstall the Navision after getting the illegal operation problem. However, the illegal operation still happen even resinstall the OS and navision.
