Dynamics NAV License

Hi Experts,

This is regarding the Dynanics NAV 2009 license file which MS has provided for one of customer. I have following doubts this regards, please assist us to clarify.

• Howmany customized reports are supported by default customer NAV 2009 license? (I am asking the object range from 50000 to 50099, this was the very first license that Microsoft issued for my customer)
• In the older license (license file we used before purchasing additional reports) we used reports from 50000-50099. We were under impression that this license supports 100 free objects by default.(In the license description, it is not saying they have given 100 reports, but we were able to run additional 100 reports)
• However after purchasing new license after spending for additional 100 reports, still license shows we are allowed to use only 100 additional reports. I doubt if this is correct because according to my understanding this must be 200. (previous 100+newly purchased 100)

Please reply with this regards ASAP.

Kind Regards,

Isuru

The report object range 50000 to 50099 is assigned automatically if the customer has bought the granule "7110 Report and Dataport Designer". Check if that granule is still included in the license file.

Additional objects have to be assigned by your partner in the custom object range. Just buying addditional objects - in you case reports - does not automatically assign them.
Ask your partner to go to Partnersource and assign them.

BTW - this is a common problem. Many customers do not have their codeunits assigned.
