Data migration between two same companies

Hi all, i have an issue, i want to migrade data from Company A to Company B, the version of navision is the same. I want also to proceed with full migratyion like posting data etc.
How can i do that?

we've done this with linked table views and web services. As for the transactions, we have set up a transaction recorder for recording every gen.jnl.line to play it back (after account and posting group translation) in the new company. It is fairly straight forward, not a full migration. A full migration is usually too much of an effort and not needed, IMO. Maybe the CRM interface technology is a way to do it.

what about a simple .fbk backup and importing the company in the other database? Or do they have different code bases? Is it a one-time job (merge of data) or a periodic activity?
