Could not open the '' company - Error vie Webclient

I have succesfully provisioned dynamics nav on a windows azure vm, using the sample script.
the access via windows client works fine but when i log on with the webclient (the log on works, it even reckognizes wrong user / password ) i get the following error:
Could not open the '' company.
The Company does not exist. Identification fields and values: Name='CRONUS International Ltd.'
has anyone experienced this problem before?
