We have a site that has started reporting intermittent performance issues with Role Tailored clients. So far I see nothing that leads me to think this is a SQL performance issue. That's why I did not post in that specific forum. This was brought to my attention late last night. So my information may be somewhat limited at this time. I will post more information as I get it. Feel free to post questions. I'm just looking for ideas and direction in resolving these issues.
The problem has been reported as "...pages open slow...". To clarify I have asked "Is it just the opening that’s slow? How well do they perform once opened? For example, once the Sales Order page is opened, does the process of creating/selecting a sales order proceed with acceptable speed?"
Here's some information on the RTC infrastructure:
The servers are virtual.
There are roughly 100 RTC users.
All RTC users run NAV via RDP sessions.
The RDP sessions are hosted by a NLB server farm consisting of 5 dedicated servers. Each server has 32 GB memory.
There are 5 RTC services. Each service runs on its own dedicated Windows server. The users are distributed fairly evenly across the services.
We did increase the MetadataProviderCacheSize from 150 to 5000 as noted in some blogs.
There are no bugs - only undocumented features.

While there are a good number of users, this is also a brand new site with a tiny little database.
I'm still waiting on the CPU data.
