Is there any way to export in a file all the object descriptions other than the export as text option ?

I heard about some tool ...
In my case, I need to find the best way to control translations.

You might be looking for the Navision Localisation Workbench. It's a bit dated, but most likely still relevant.

Instructions are included in the installation.
