Warehouse Shipment and Receipt

kum_akkum_ak Member Posts: 3
Hi,

After creating a warehouse shipment or receipt from a sale order or purchase order with multiple lines,

1. On posting the shipment or receipt , with full qty on the first line, all the other lines are also getting posted. Two posted documents are created.
This is happening even when there is zero qty in other lines, except the first.
2. The above situation is not happening , when i post with zero or partial qty in the first line.

Also on doing a partial receipt or shipment in the first line , a message "the posted receipt or shipment document " already exixts is displayed.
on accepting the mesage, the line is getting posted.

Does anybody have a clue on why this is happening?

regards
kumar

I am having the same problem suddenly. It worked fine up until about two weeks ago.

    Did you find a solution?

Which version are you working in? I remember that there was a problem in 3.70 when posting a warehouse receipt. I suppose that the problem was caused by zero in the last line or something like that. We've got a codefix from Navision to solve this problem.

But I'am not quite sure if this is the same problem.
Did you already ask the Navision support for that?

They fixed this in 3.7b so you need to load the improvement. I had to do it for a client.

ara3n, thanks... It's the same answer I got from MS.

ngebhard, thank you also. there is a code change for the receipt routines, but i don't know if it's the same or not, it had something to do with using a local variable with the same name as a global variable in the codeunit. i am going to verify and implement it first then think about whether I should put in 3.7b or wait until we go to 4.0.

I appreciate all your advice. have a terrific day.

That was the answer we got from Navision as well. After inserting the new code it works!
