How to Import a excel file in NAV2013 using xml port?

Hi All,

I need to import an excel file into nav 2013 using xml port. If anyone knows, please let me know.

Hi chandru,

In NAV 2013, xml port not allows you to upload excel file.
It allowas only .csv, .txt and .xml file to upload.

For your case, we can save your excel file as a .csv file format with using Save As.

And then try to upload csv file. it will works.

Hi, you can use rapid start services to direct export or import with excel.

And then there is table 370 that you can use to import Excel documents.

Look at Report 81 for an example.
