Create "SUPER" Role without Object Desginer

I need to have a role with all permissions except access to Object Designer and Navigation Pane Designer. I tried this but it doesn't work:



User can start NAV but can't see any Departments, only Shortcut menu appears.

You cannot revoke permissions, only grant them. Therefor, click on the All Objects button and uncheck those you want to revoke there and see how NAV handles this.

I strongly advice against using this technique thou. It might not cause too much trouble on system objects, but on all other types always grant access to whatever the role needs and resist the urge to think along the line "everything but ..."
