How to change the DB in NAV 2013?

Hi all,

I am trying to change the db from demo database 7 to new db by changing the db name in

<add key="DatabaseName" value="NewDB" />

After doing this I restarted the NAV instance.

After doing this I can able to see 2 option available when I login through finsql.

But when I open the page, it is giving me the error, Connection could not be established to server.

If anyone knows the reason for this , kindly let me know.

Open Microsoft Dynamics NAV Administration from All Programs
Select the Service Instance from Left side.
Click Edit at bottom.
Change the database name.
save the changes.
restart the service.

Hi Mohana,

As suggested I changed the db name in administrative tools in NAS and then restarted the service but still I am getting the same error.

You need to change Database Name in General tab not in NAS..
