Automating adding jobs to Public Folders

Version Info: Currently, we are using 3.01, but will be upgrading to 4.0 this summer. We do not use SQL server version - just C/Side.

Right now we have a lot of duplicate entry happening and I would like to set up some automation to resolve this. When a new job is set up in Navision, depending on the job posting type, it is then added to one of two public folders available in Outlook (running Exchange 2003, client side is Outlook XP (2002)). One public folder contains tasks and one is a calendar. While I have been developing in Navision for a couple of years, I have no experience integrating the two or doing much development in Outlook, but I would like to automate the public folder entry for new jobs.

Any help to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.
