CaptionML difference RTC vs. Classic

Hi,

We have a Polish customer, and we have installed the Polish version of both the Classic client and the RTC version (NAV2009R2). The problem is that the Polish captions differ between the Classic and the RTC client. The captions shown in the Classic client seems ok, but not in the RTC version. Polish language module has been installed for both clients.

Anyone has an idea what that could be?

If we review the CaptionML for the RTC menu suite object, the Polish caption is correct.

    looks like RTC is using the wrong charset.

    Yes, you are right, but how to change that?

    The NAV server is installed on another server, and this server is running Polish. The "Service" directory on this server does also have two language folders "PLK" and "pl-PL".

    If you set up the NAV server to run the Cronus company the captions are displayed correctly. The rtc menu suites in Cronus database and if our customized database are the same.

    Solved it...

    It was the simple and obvious solution that did it....re-compiling all pages :oops:
