Is it possible to combine the "Analysis by Dimension" from 2 different companies (which has different setup's) and display it in a single table/page (new table/page)? Thanks
What do you mean by "different setup"? Do you mean you want to combine two different Analysis Views (of two companies)? That only makes sense in very few situations in my opinion.
But if you would use the same Analysis View in two different companies then you could bring them together in one report e.g. by using the CHANGECOMPANY function. It's also possible to merge the data into one (temporary) table and/or page. But that depends on that you exactly want to do.
"Money is likewise the greatest chance and the greatest scourge of mankind."
The different setup means, example the dimension/dimension value could be different. I am aware of the CHANGECOMPANY function but wondering if this is possible using SSMS or Views or with other methods in NAV 2013?
Yes, of course you could also use e.g. a SQL View or the new 2013 Object Type "Query" should also work.
If the Dimensions are different then it doesn't make no sense to combine these Analysis Views. If just the Dimension Value is different then it depends on the meaning of the values if it makes sense to combine them. And of course as I already said, all this makes only sense if the two Analysis Views are similar in both companies.
