User permission by fields (not table)

hi all,
is there any functions that we can use for controlling user permission by fields?
let say user A and B can access sales header table
user A can see Field External Document No.
but user B cannot see Field External Document No.

I explore this but still doesnt have the answer
or is there any tool to do this for NAV?

Not possible in standard NAV.
