Hi folks,
Just wanted to drop in and tell you guys about a book that I've been working on for the past few months. The title of the book is called
Getting Started with Dynamics NAV 2013 Application Development and it's aim is to teach end users and beginners about developing in Dynamics NAV 2013.
You can read more about it here:

Hope you all like it!

I am happy to provide my support by buying your book (the bundle) from PackT.
I have flipped through the pdf version and I would recommend it to any new NAV customer - even the non-developers.
I have read complaints about the "terrible" report designer, but as your book points out, simple reports do not take much development skill.
You have done a great job, and I hope the NAV community will make it a standard for beginners.

I just looked over the preview.
I like the how essential elements are quickly introduced along with screenshot, this is great.
Overview of the critical parts of the system is exactly what the beginning Developer needs.
I also like that you reuse terminology from the exams, like referering to tables as Master, Transactional etc.

The book actually ties in great with Dave and Chris Studebaker's new development book, which goes into more detail. Read Alex's book first and move on to the Studebakers' book.
