I have a DLL which is stored in the Add-Ins Directorys of my PC (Client and Server)

If I would choose the DLL as the SubType of my local variable in a codeunit function, I find the DLL in the lookup, but i receive an error by choosing the entry:

Type could not be loaded

I've got no ideas. Could anyone help me please?
Many thanks, Roger

Did you try that in another Version / Build?
Is it possible that your NAV user hasn't got access to the location where the library is stored or registered?

    this is just a workaround...
copy your DLL also to the folder of your windows client

    usually:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\70\RoleTailored Client\

I have the same issue in *some* environments and I'm in contact with Microsoft on this issue

I've tried it on both ways whith the same result. But now, I've created a brand new, very simple DLL, and this one is working. I'm a bit confused.
