Default visible property across in Windows client NAV2013

Is it possible to default the visible property of global fields across the entire application? For example, I want to make the Dimension 1 field visible across all of the pages (journals, subforms, etc). However, I want to hide Dimension 2 across all of the pages.

Is there an easy way to do this?
