NAV 2013, inventory order error

Hi, the inventory order isn't working. After pressing the "post" button, a error message comes with "Gen. Prod. Posting Group must have a value in Item Journal Line: Journal Template Name=, Journal Batch Name=, Line No.=0. It cannot be zero or empty.
Every item has a production posting group assigned, the general posting setup is the same as the Cronos AG. I can't figure out what could be missing. Please help

As the error always occurred in the last part of the item posting, I simply deleted 30 items of the 272 items in recording and order. After that I successfully posted the inventory.
Very odd to me was that I could book the remaining 30 items in a second recording and order inventory.

Hi constantin,

I think you do not have any problem for Item Journal posting.

You may have problem in report 795 "Adjust Cost - Item Entries" which runs after Item Journal posting is completed and it runs to adjust the Item transactions.

I suggest you first run report 795 "Adjust Cost - Item Entries" without any filter directly from (Finance Management -> Inventory -> Costing -> Report "Adjust Cost - Item Entries") and if you have problem then solve it first then post your Item Journal.

Hi constantin,

After running report 795 "Adjust Cost - Item Entries", Please run batch job for posting adjusted Item Entries Report 1002 "Post Inventory Cost to G/L". If you get any error then please solve it and then proceed further.
