We're yet to go live with ax 2009, but testing has brought up a problem....
In our current system we can stock phantoms, and when a picklist is produced any phantoms in stock are not "Blown through" to it's components, but presented on the pick list.
AX is able to stock phantoms, but the above logic is not present - it'll still blow through regardless of stock (and therefore generate demand for components).
Has anyone done any work in this area and could provide guidance to a solution?
There is an argument that if stock is held, the item isn't a phantom. Unfortunately this doesn't hold with my production team.
