I use E-ship w/ NAV 2009 R2. During pack line scanning I get an item label which, I believe, is defined in the Receive Rule and the Receive Setup. We use Lot Numbers and Exp. Dates so the label is setup to have the Item No. and Shelf No. in text, and the Item No., Lot No. and Exp. Date as barcodes below. This fills the whole label.
When an item that does not have Lot No. and Exp. date is received, it uses the same label, but most of the label is left empty (no data).
When I use Item Label (report 14000841), I can select a different label that is not setup for Lot No. and Exp. Dates and I have added Item Description, Base UOM, and Location. I would like this label to be used in Pack Line Scanning when the item has no Lot No.
Is there a way for NAV/Pack Line Scanning to automatically select the other label if the item has no Lot No.?
