Open Item ledger entry with negative quantity

Hi,

I have been searching the forum for a while; but could not find a link with technical solution for this issue. Positive and negative adjustment can be done to resolve this issue; but can we do any customization to avoid this scneario?. We have WMS; while receiving materials through transfer order, sometimes, only one item ledger entry is getting generated instead of two.

The answer to your question is don't load negative quantities. WHM will not allow negative quantities.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply. Sometimes, when transfer order is posted, only two ILE entries are getting generated instead of four. Sample entries are attached. Only one shipment entry is created in which stock is reduced from location 'stores1'. In receipt entry, again stock is deducted from 'intransit' location. Inventory has not got credited in 'stores2' location to where it was actually transferred. Any idea, why this error happens?. When we post 100 items, only one or two items are getting posted like this. This ultimately leads to negative qty in ILE.
