Navision Timesheets

Hi mibuso.com World :D!

Been recording timesheets in a Table in Word since the year of dot but recently I thought I would bring this information into NAV! So I copy the required week into Excel, create a CSV file and bring this CSV file into NAV and using a Dataport to bring the timesheets in - custy.

This works great for all but a few characters, i.e., Mike's Bike, the 's gets translated to -s, The - next step gets translated to The ? next step and a few others!

Anybody had a similar situation or know a better way to get Word Tables into NAV?

Thanks for your time

Excel normally create files in ANSI format and NAV import in ACSII format.

When you create the csv you can select "CSV (MS-DOS)". Try that and see if you still have the problem.
